When you come to CrossFit The Club our goals are to improve the ten general skills required for optimal physical competence.

  1. Cardiovascular/respiratory endurance- the ability of the body systems to gather, process, and deliver oxygen.
  2. Stamina- the ability of body systems to process, deliver, store, and utilize energy.
  3. Strength- the ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units to apply force.
  4. Flexibility- the ability to maximize the range of motion at a given joint.
  5. Power- the ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply maximum force in minimum time.
  6. Speed- the ability to minimize the time cycle of a repeated movement.
  7. Coordination- the ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a singular distinct movement.
  8. Agility- the ability to minimize transition time from one movement pattern to another.
  9. Balance- the ability to control the placement of the body’s center of gravity in relation to its support base.
  10. Accuracy- the ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity.

Class Descriptions:

Crossfit– to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness supported by measurable, observable and repeatable results.  Crossfit prepares trainees for any physical contingency-not only for the unknown but for the unknowable too.  Our specialty is not specializing.

*Gymnastics- class will be on a rotating schedule through each class on the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month.  Gymnastics classes are to help improve body weight strength, learn and develop new skills to become the most well rounded athlete.

KidFit- Childhood is an ideal window of opportunity to influence proper motor and movement skills, all while having fun and learning new skills! 

Open Gym- this is a time that you can come and complete the workout of the day or come and work on a new skill or lift.  There will be no organized class at time but there will be a coach there to help with any questions.
