Camille Kent has been teaching fitness classes for over 14 years. She joined the OAC team this January and has been bringing down the house in her DanceFit classes, building your muscle endurance in BodyPump and bringing the heat in her cycling classes. Fit, strong, knowledgeable and beautiful; she is unequivocally a fitness expert. But this fitness guru admits, even the most experienced can benefit from nutrition guidance. Camille decided this fall it was time to get focused. "I know what good nutrition is, what to eat and what not to eat, but I just needed to be held accountable and I wanted help dialing in my macro's (i.e. Carbs, Fats, and Proteins). With all the classes I teach, I wanted to understand the right nutrition for me to keep my energy up and to get the muscle tone I'm looking for. I also wanted to make sure I was at my peak performance, so that if I get sick from COVID or something else, I am in my best health to combat whatever comes my way."

They teamed up for a one-month nutrition program. "Krystykka had me fill out a questionnaire to get started so she could understand my activity level and other lifestyle and health factors. From there she built a plan specific for me and my needs. I was surprised at the number of calories she recommended, and it was more protein than I had ever eaten, but after a month I can already tell a difference. I have the energy I need to take me through my daily schedule, and I am already seeing a difference in my muscle tone. Having someone to report back to and keep me focused really helped me to see it through." Camille and Krystykka would meet weekly to check in and make any necessary adjustments.
