Welcome Chris, New Tennis Director!

Chris is a USPTA Certified Elite Tennis Professional who has directed tennis programs at some of the world's top 5-star resorts and country clubs. These include The Homestead in Virginia, The Four Seasons Resort Nevis, The Four Seasons Resort Bali, The International Club of Yokohama Japan, The Woodlands Country Club, Giammalva Racquet Club and River Plantation Country Club. He was also a member of the International PBI Tennis Show for 3 years. This show has been likened to the Harlem Globetrotters of Tennis, which has performed in 31 countries around the world.

As a junior, Chris reached the #1 ranking in San Diego, and #2 in singles and #2 in doubles in California. He achieved a junior career National ranking of #3 in singles and #2 in doubles. He is a three-time Fiesta Bowl Champion and National Hard-Court Champion. As a collegiate athlete, he attended the University of Oklahoma on a full athletic scholarship. During his freshman and sophomore years he finished third in
the Big 8 Conference. He transferred to the University of San Diego, also on a full athletic scholarship, or his junior and senior years. Chris was awarded the San Diego College Player of the Year award during his junior collegiate year for compiling the best winning percentage, for both singles and doubles combined, in school history. University of San Diego reached NCAA Division 1 ranking of #14 and #12 his junior and senior years. He has notable career wins over Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras and Michal Chang.

Chris's teaching philosophy is that every lesson should have an equal portion of fun, fitness and knowledge. His business background includes being a former branch manager of Raymond James Financial Services, and residential real estate agent in Texas and Utah. In his spare time, you will find Chris skiing in the winter and hitting the golf links in the summer.
