April Newsletter 2020

From the General Manager

I hope this message finds you all safe and healthy. During this time of resetting, readjusting and daily changes, it is hard to find the new "temporary" normal. Change can sure make you appreciate the daily routines and schedules that we have all become accustomed to. I hope you are all finding a way to keep on exercising and staying fit during this pandemic. This is a good time to pick a new short term goal and see if you can reach it in the next few weeks.

Our staff has continued to post workouts and exercise videos on our facebook and instagram pages. I have appreciated all the great and creative ways they are reaching out to you to help you stay connected and keep moving forward. There are more options to come so keep looking at our social media pages in the coming weeks.

I know things are hard for everyone. And during this time, your club dues will be frozen until the club re-opens. The club is also committed to paying our staff. I appreciate all of you who read your email and opted to maintain your dues through April to help in contributing to keeping the club and it's employees going. These are unsettling times and the club wants to help relieve as much stress from our employees and members as possible.

Please make sure you are reading your email updates from the club. This is the best way for us to reach out and inform you of changes. If you are not receiving emails please contact me at [email protected] and leave your name, phone # and email address.

I do send out surveys periodically to our members. This is a way for me to know how much you like the Club and how you feel we are doing, as well as how we can improve to serve you better. Please check your email and send us an update on how we are doing.

I am currently looking for feedback on what you would like to see change or stay the same as we reopen the club. How has the Covid19 pandemic changed the way you want your fitness facility to operate? Please drop me an email if you have any feedback or thoughts on this matter at [email protected].

Please stay safe, stay home, and stay healthy. We want to open our doors soon, and we want to open it back to every one of you. We miss you all and want to make it through without leaving anyone behind!

When we are able to get back on the courts, Scott will provide the club the highest quality level of tennis programming and instruction for the members in a fun and exciting environment that allows all members the opportunity to play tennis regardless of ability or competitiveness, taking your tennis dreams, aspirations and desires to the next level.

Scott has had the opportunity to teach players from all around the world. Including; top movie actors, music stars and players that have played at all the major grand slams.

Scott is excited to come out of self-confinement and meet all the members at Ogden Athletic Club and help you reach success in your tennis goals.

We have so many things that are happening and social media is an easy way to keep you informed to the minute. be closed, and how our members are doing, what activities are going on and what's happening daily at the Club. Please join us.

We are here to help you when you return to the club on your fitness journey. We offer you and your family members over 16 years of age a Free Jump Start Session with one of our Personal Trainers. In this session you can learn how to set realistic goals and attain them. You will also learn about nutrition, functional fitness, proper techniques and skills to help you meet your goals, and myths about exercise. You will also learn about what is available for you at the club and the keys to what you like to do and what will be the most effective use of your time here at the Club. We will customize your session so it will be all about your wants and needs. Our goal is to integrate you into the Club and show you how to get the most of your experience with us.
